Photographic portrait of a man wearing a button-down coat with a white open high collar. The photograph format call "Carte de visite" is used in this case as a business card with the informations handwritten on the back : Paul Granier Directeur - Redacteur en chef du Ralliement de Belfort 37, rue Thiers Belfort (Paul Granier Director - Editor-in-chief of the Ralliement de Belfort 37, rue Thiers Belfort)

Paul GRANIER was a director and éditor-in-Chief of the french newspaper "Le Ralliement de Belfort", a Republican newspaper of the territory of Belfort, initially bi-weekly, then with variable frequency, appeared between 1887 and 1908, before being replaced by "Le Libéral de l'Est (Belfort)"
