Painted portrait representing the Vicomtesse de B ... of three quarter, wearing a jacket, a scarf with a dog motif and a large earring reminiscent of cherries. She holds a roses bouquet in her hands and in the background on the left a castle is visible through its large medieval tower.The painting was exhibited in 1944 at the Winter Salon as evidenced by the stamp and label on the back. The 36th winter fair was held at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in the city of Paris, quai de Tokyo (now Avenue de New York) from Saturday, December 2, 1944 to Tuesday, January 2, 1945.
