Description
Two earthenware plates with polychrome decoration of Joan of Arc accompanied by her year of birth and death 1412 - 1431. The first plate reprsents Jeanne in knight armor surmounted with a motto "Jesus Maria"; the other in her "virgin" peasant state with long hair and a motto "Vive labeur". Both portraits are surrounded with Art Nouveau style decoration of heraldic lilies.
