Description
Watercolour fashion plate from the "Magasin des Demoiselles", represents women's costume according to fashion trends in the early 1850s.

Engraving depicts two women in the interior. The lady on the left is wearing a brown dress with green coat, adorned with large black trimming on the bottom and cuffs. She is wearing a black and yellow cap hat. The woman on the right is wearing a a white ball gown with two level skirt with striped motifs on the bottom, and the top of the bodice. Her hair is in fashionable updo style with ruffled ribbons.
