Description
Photograph of a young girl represented in a photographer's studio in full-length leaning on a tufted chair, and standing in front of a rectangular column. The child is wearing a long sleeved dress with pleated trimming on the collar, cuffs and bottom. Her neck is adorned with a short pearl necklace.
 
This photograph is typically a "carte de visite" format, format invented by André Adolphe Eugène DISDERI in 1854.
