At the forefront of the postcard is a man in a brown coat with grey trousers, a black and red striped cravat and a top hat, holding a cane, as well as a woman in a blue and black striped dress with a square neckline and short sleeves, a wide-brimmed blue hat adorned by a large pink ribbon, purple stockings and yellow shoes. She is raising her skirt for the man to see, hence the name "L'indiscret" or "The Indiscreet".At the top, behind them, is a line of several characters, alternating men and women, supposed to represent the parisian sidewalk.
