Family portrait depicting four women and a child. The women wear light-colored dresses that reveal their ankles, in keeping with the post-World War I fashion. They have rounded necklines and cinched waists. Two of them wear sleeveless dresses. All four wear wide-brimmed, flat hats. One wears a fur collar, another a wool coat with a fur collar.The photograph was taken in front of the BASCHET family property in Gagny. It depicts, from left to right, Arlette WARRAIN (1892-1987), wife of John RYAN, followed by her sister Yvonne WARRAIN (1893-1992), wife of Léon Cyprien FABRE, both sisters of Marguerite WARRAIN (on the right) with her son Denis BASCHET (1920-1990), then one year old. The third woman is Germaine FAJARD (1898-2003), wife of René Jean BASCHET, Marguerite WARRAIN's sister-in-law.
