Description
Black woolen gabardine double-breasted men’s overcoat or "surtout". With silk covered buttons, rear double box-pleats with two buttons above them, and hemmed white cuffs on the sleeves.

Accompanied by white cotton tuxedo shirt with a chest plastron and horizontal pleats on the sleeves 2023.1.17.8; removable calico collar labelled "Georges Paris”; black woolen pinstriped pants 2023.1.17.10; black wool and cotton satin waistcoat, lined with striped cotton 2023.1.17.9.
