Description
Lace women's skirt, with a yellow silk ribbon that goes around the waist. It is embellished with circle embroideries on tulle background, a vertical floral pattern on the front, which occupies a majority of the height of the skirt and other floral patterns which form a vertical frieze on either side of the skirt. A garland separates the three flounces that adorn the bottom of the underskirt, the first two of which are embellished with flowers at regular intervals and circles. This skirt closes with a system of metal fasteners at the back.

The skirt comes from the wardrobe of Anna TRIPOLSKY (also spelled TRIPOLSKAYA), born MOLOTKOVSKAYA, the daughter of a private attorney of the District Court, the wife of a Russian noble gentleman Vladimir TRIPOLSKY (1883 - 1942).
