Painting portrait of a middle-aged woman wearing a white cloak, trimmed with fur at the neckline and sleeves and adorned on the chest with a white bow, the neckline is protected by a piece of lace. The lady is represented in a white cotton cap, adorned with a blue ribbon and a piece of lace at the back, under the chin, a black knot allows it to be tied. This is a three-quarter portrait framed at half bust level. Although circular in shape, the painting depicts a rectangular painted frame.This woman is known as the Comtesse de Murat de Besançon.
