Description
Paper photograph on cardboard base, representing a portrait of a lady, standing in a photographer's studio, leaning on a chair in a long sleeved silk crinoline dress, with long and large skirt. A row of round buttons is going from the collar to the bottom of the skirt. The sleeves and sides of the skirt are decorated with patchwork diamond shaped appliques, each with two buttons. The waistline is accentuated with a large belt, fastening with a square belt buckle made of two rectangular openwork metal parts. The neckline has a small white collar decorated in the center with an oval cameo brooch. A long necklace goes from the neck under the belt, ending with a round medallion, with another end attached to the belt.
