Rectangular letter holder in the shape of a satchel sheathed in green morocco leather, the borders decorated in gold with a frieze of embossed palmettes, the gusseted interior sheathed in red morocco consists of twelve compartments captioned with the months of the year of republican calendar with extra four compartments, closing with a polished gilded steel clasp with key (missing).
