Description
Glass paperweight with a black and white photograph represented the 19th-century famous opera singer Adelina PATTI (1843-1919). She is wearing a beret with fringe of jet pearl and wearing a matching coat and richly worked.
The original photographic portrait was made by the photograph Charles REUTLINGER (1816-1888) for the occasion of the Exposition Universelle of 1867 in Paris where Patti sang in Rossini's The Barber of Seville.
