Description
Portrait of a young woman wearing a pendant and a pin in her hair. Her dress is decorated with embroidery.
The miniature enameld on porcelain is made according to the process "Mathieu DEROCHE". This technique was named after the photographer who obtained the licence for commercialising Alphonse Louis POITEVIN and Lafond de CAMARSAC's invention. The process allowed the transfer of a photograph on enameld slab and compete with traditionnal enamed miniature.
