Description
Rectangular gilded metal case with lacquered tortoiseshell imitating top with Art Deco golden striped design. The compact opens on several compartments with a mirror glued on a thin metal plate, opening to a compartment under the lid. Space on the right for a lipstick holder, and a rectangular compartment for cigarettes or powder. In terms of luxury items, the cigarette case and the vanity case became the successors to the precious snuffboxes.
