Description
Large casket box in wooden marquetry of lighter and darker colours in neo-Renaissance style. The lid takes off with an iron ring to reveal the interior compartment used to keep jewellery, letters or other small objects. The main side of the box is embellished with a beadwork under glass in a steel frame, representing a couple of swans in a pond surrounded with reed. The bottom hides another flat compartment.
