Description
Small purse made of silvered metal with a little chain strap ending with a large rig. The inside lining is in dark emerald colour silk and has four small compartments.

This type of change-purse allowed women (who at the time did not pay the bills themselves) to carry some coins with elegance, and was usually attached to the chatelaine on the belt.
