Description
Watercolour fashion plate from the "Magasin des Demoiselles", represents women's costume according to fashion trends in the early 1850s.

Engraving depicts two women and a little girl in the interior. The lady on the left is wearing a brown dress  with matching outside jacket with wide sleeves, and a green bonnet hat, adorned with lace trimming inside. She is holding the child's hand, who is standing in a blue dress and white bonnet, and holding a basket with red roses. The woman on the right is wearing a white ball gown with three level skirt decorated with bows. Her hair is in fashionable updo style with short red veil on the back.
