Watercolour fashion plate n2272 from the "Petit courrier des dames ou Nouveau journal des modes, des théâtres, de la littérature et des arts", represents women's parisian costume according to fashion trends in 1847.

Engraving depicts two women modeling fashionable outside gowns. The lady on the left is wearing a blue gown with three level skirt with purple trimming, and a black Chantilly lace shawl. The lady on the right is wearing a green dress with purple trimming in the middle, white collar, and a large white crepe de chine shawl. Her hair is adorned with a pink bonnet hat. The hat comes from House of Delaborde ancient House of Lejay. Dresses by Camille and perfume by Guerlain.
