Description
Painting portrait of a countess, originally from MOREAU de FAVERNEY noble family. The lady is represented in a pink evening dress with open shoulders, wearing a set of pearl jewellery consisting of a necklace, a bracelet, pending earrings, and a ring. She has a short haircut, and holding a rose on a blue sky background with a garden. On the right, a coat of arms, relating two noble families, is represented: on the left, quartered with silver feathers on blue in 1st and 4th, and golden sheaf of wheat on red in 2nd and 3rd; MOREAU de FAVERNEY on the right with three Moor's heads with silver and red headbands, on golden background - all surmounted with an earl crown.
