Description
Paper photograph depicting a woman wearing a Pierre BALMAIN creation "Buckingham" for the spring-summer 1957 collection, consisting of long evening sheath dress in white satin embroidered with silver, small short overcoat of white mink to warm the shoulders, and long white gloves. The model is wearing a set of diamond jewellery with a necklace, earrings and a crown. The press paper is saying that this collection went under the sign of femininity. All the lines, all the ideas, all the fabrics and the ornaments tend towards suppleness, gaiety, fluidity.
