Description
Painted leaf fan with 15 ivory sticks, engraved with vertical silver inserts with openwork detailing on the first and last sticks. Decorated on the handle with two rhinestones from both sides. The main side is in silk with handpainted gold framing of floral and vegetal ornaments, handpainted garlands of pink roses with leaves, blue bell flowers and branches of purple flowers, embroidered with silver sequins, and decorated with a center scene representing a park landscape (certainly a grove of the Versailles Palace garden) with a walking couple: woman in pink gown and a noble man.
