Description
Sleeveless silk taffeta ball dress with woven large scattered poppies. Curved band outlining the bust, deep V to waist.  From the fabric by Staron.

Pierre Balmain, Jacques Fath, Jacques Griffe and Jean Desses also produced dresses using this fabric for their Spring-Summer 1956 collections. L'Officiel nos 409-410 p. 210 shows the Fath version.
