Meyan was a singer and actress in the early 20th century, who appeared at the Moulin Rouge and played in "La Princesse Sans Gène" at the Theatre du Châtelet in Paris in 1908. In this photo, she is depicted as a "Beauté Parisienne" in carnival costume, with ringleted hair, leaning against a pillar.
