Description
Russian traditional headdress of particular shape with 7 star edges, decorated with pearls, rhinestones and sequins. This kokoshnik is based on the sketch of Konstantin KOROVIN for Russian folk dance in the ballet "The Little Humpbacked Horse" on the music by Cesare PUGNI.
Similar type of headdress was worn by famous dancers for the role of Tsar Maiden, such as Lyubov
YEGOROVA, Alexandra BALASHOVA, Yekaterina GELTZER and other stars of Russian Ballet.
