Description
A patch box with the interior in vermeil silver. A mirror under the lid surrounded by solid silver. The exterior is covered with a solid gold inlay marquetry illustrating a famous Fontaine's fairy-tale "Le Corbeau et le Renard" ("The Fox and the Crow"). The Crow is missing from the scene. There is a hallmark inside the box.
