This photograph depicts the stage performer Ann Corio in her full costume, comprising a long bustier dress with a train, covered in sequins, a white fur capelet, a pair of gloves with rather wide, sparkly bracelets on the wrists and a tiara.
Ann Corio (born Ann CICORIA on November 29, 1909 and died on March 1, 1999) was a famous ecdysiastic and American burlesque actress. She changed her name to CORIO for stage purposes but also because some members of her family did not approve her profession.
