Half portrait of a woman wearing a black dress of the Constitutional Republic of Louis Philippe with their wide decolletage and ham sleevs.The portrait has many similarities in terms of dress and especially the hairstyles of the Parisians in the 1830s drawn by Achille DeverÃa. Many of the hairstyles of those times, especially those used to attend the Opera or an important salon, were used to extend the figure of the woman by means of vertical braids that were staged with large combs and adorned with a flower.
