Description
Small smelling salts scent bottle made of silver-gilt and enamel, representing roses on white and blue background.

Exclusively made in Bourg-en-Bresse, Bresse enamels are characterized by a guilloche gold or silver plate serving as a support for an opaque or translucent monochrome enamel. The surface is decorated with gold spangles, including one called "central rosette". Sometimes the perimeter is highlighted with enamel pearls contained in gold cups.
