Description
Painting portrait of a noble woman known as Hélène Marguerite van HUSSEIN (1705 - 1776). She is in a red velvet cape, which was a typical clothes of Polish boyars,  trimmed with fur, was called a contouche, and a dress in ivory colour brocade and silk with blue ornaments and lace cuffs.

The lady's costume is adorned with lots of hand-made bobbin lace, presumably, these are the popular Brabant or Binche lace.
