Description
Fur coat of gorilla fur with lame brocade lining.
The gorilla is a large, great-looking monkey, as you know, and in the 1920s and 30s it was very fashionable to walk in the fur of such an animal. It is always black and resembles human hair. This is what made gorilla fur so popular in the jazz era. They got dressed with dresses, hats, fur coats and capes were sewn from it. It was worth the crazy money. This was especially popular in the USA. If you had a gorilla fur coat, you immediately fell into the category of exquisite people.
