Valentino Haute Couture black silk faille with a white poppy print evening gown to the floor. A draped sleeveless bodice with rear zipper has a halter neckline with a wide loop at front, through which a white satin bow is threaded. The four-gore waist-cut skirt flares at the bottom into godet shape, and is trimmed with buckram. The outer fabric of the dress is lined with two layers of white chiffon, the bottom third of the skirt has two additional layers of stiff white tulle, and an inner lining of the dress made of pale grey silk satin. Most likely the dress from Valentino Couture Fall-Winter 1987/88 collection or Cruise collection of the same year.Materials
