Description
Beadwork embroidery composed of glass beads on linen base featuring two religious portraits, one of Jesus Christ framed in a thorn crown; and one of Mary in a floral wreath. Both are depicted with halos wearing red tunics, Jesus with a blue mantle and Mary with a white veil. Below is an inscription in brass beads relevant to date and authorship. The top of the embroidery features a floral band of pink roses with yellow and purple pansies.
