Silk and chenille Catalan embroidery on wood base of religious scene depicting Jesus with the apostle Peter in the desert. Jesus is in a beige tunic with blue mantle, and holds the two keys to heaven; one gold, one silver. In front of him is the apostle Peter, on his knees, in a red tunic with beige mantle.This scene is reference to Mathew 16:18-19 in which Jesus gives the keys to Peter granting him spiritual authority over the Church, often of particular importance to Catholics.
