Description
Box featuring a rectangular form composed of enameled porcelain with a hand-painted pastoral scene on the lid and interior. The decoration includes figures in a natural landscape, executed in polychrome overglaze. The lid is featuring a galant scene where a seated man plays a string instrument next to a woman. The man wears a yellow and brown outfit with white stockings, while the woman is dressed in a red gown with a white apron and headdress. Fitted with a brass mount and clasp closure.
