The history of red blazer in men's gashion of 1990s rooted in British rowing clubs and academic institutions, the 1990s saw them adopted in various ways, including as a key element in the "dressy casual" trend, alongside grunge and streetwear influences. Among the first designers to introduce the red blazer into men's fashion were Helmut LANG, Thierry MUGLER and Ganni VERSACE.
