Description
Servant's uniform from the Countess d'ALCANTARA family house. The livery made of dark navy blue wool gabardine is double-breasted and short to the waist at front, with three rows of gilded heraldic buttons with coat of arms engraved, has three rows of the same buttons on the rear box-pleats framing the high vent, and three more on each figured detail by the sides; the collar is trimmed with striped yellow-blue silk, the forepart bottoms adorned with the same silk triangular details. Uniform trousers made of dark navy wool gabardine with yellow piping and welt pockets in the side seams, have a rear half-belt with a gilded metal buckle, a fly fastened with buttons. A striped yellow-blue shantungsilk waistcoat with shawl collar, four gilded metal buttons, four welt pockets and ivory cotton lining and back, belongs to the overall suit.
Accompanied by a black satin bow tie “Eine Meister-Schleife aus reiner seide” and detachable white cotton collar “Garant 4 Dube”.
