Description
A pink blended fabric shirt (55% cotton, 45% polyester) with a full cutaway collar and five rows of ruffles on the chest (three on the right side, two on the left side of the placket), has also ruffles on the cuffs.

Accompanied by dark blue/red/white striped bow tie and a spare tie “Ted Baker London” made of blue silk with red circles.

The heyday of men's ruffled shirts was in the 1970s, especially on the pop scene and for formal wear. The first mention of ruffles on formal shirts was in 1957 in GQ magazine. By 1961, shirts appeared with small colored edging. By 1965, the ruffles had become much larger and were added to the cuffs. By the 1970s, these shirts were available in all bright colors palette. This trend began to wane in the latter third of the 1970s.
