Description
One-button single-breasted men's morning coat with notch lapels made of cranberry gabardine.
Accompanied by grey formal trousers and white zipped shirt labelled “Colvera”.

This type of coat can be traced back to the late 19th century frock coat. It's design was adapted for horse riding. Instead of straight front edges, the coat curves back to free the rider’s knees. When Edward VIII reached the throne in 1936, one of his first actions was to abolish the traditional frock coat from court dress in favour of the morning coat. These days it’s reserved for formal occasions before 6pm.
