Natalie Paley (1905-1981) was a Russian princess, the granddaughter of Tsar Alexander II. She fled the Russian Revolution and went on to establish herself as a model in Paris throughout the 1930s, for Schiaparelli, Chanel, and Vogue. She later appear in French and American films.
Sylvia Scarlett (1935), directed by George CUKOR, stars Katharine HEPBURN, Cary GRANT, and Edmund GWENN in a story about a woman disguising herself as a boy.
