Pair of hand screens made on cardboard base in a shape of typical stylized women's faces with their wigs from the end of the 18th century. The right hand screen is decorated with a chinoiserie scene, the left hand screen with a galante courtship scene. On the both back sides an imaginary bird is represented. On the right, it can be a phoenix while left it can be a heron.Materials
