It is sleeveless with a round-shape neckline and a straight long bodice.The dress seems to simulate an opening at the front, which is retained by an embroidered oval, revealing a golden fabric underneath. This slit overlapping with a fringe of pearls.This evening dress of the early 1920s illustrates the transition from the mourning dress to the straight and square "Art Deco" form of the mid-1920s.
