Costume headdress possibly for ballet and opera, in the style of Russian traditional kokoshnik. The handmade headdress is decorated with multiple rows of white pearls, and multicolored rhinestones sawn to the fabric, as well as embroidery in blue and red thread. The polygonal headgown is streched out by a number of wires and the cap part covering the back and front of the head has an elastic strap. Multichrome sequins decorate the back cap of the kokoshnik.Former personal collection of the dancer and choreographer Serge LIFAR.
