Description
Paper photograph illustrating a fashion model wearing Carven fashion house creation "Nefertiti" for spring-summer 1960 collection, consisting of an evening pencil dress in orange shantung and a matching headdress. The top and bottom are decorated with gold and white embroideries, inspired by Egyptian motifs. The headgown is covered with sequins and is made of two stylized scarab wings closing on the forehead, and two circles covering the ears. The look is completed with a pair of shoes with a small rose on the front. The lady is standing with her arms pleated horizontally in front of her, on the background of an Ancient Egypt statue.
