Fashion photograph of a model wearing a hat design by Jane BLANCHOT for the spring-summer 1961 season. A black doormat straw tambourine hat, with very raised edges, worn over a silk scarf. The model is dressed in a simple dress with round neckline, and a pair of long silk satin gloves.The mannequin is known as Lucie DAOUPHARSA (1922-1963) called "Lucky", a French model from the 1950s - 1960s who worked in particular with the house of Dior.
