Paper photograph illustrating a fashion model wearing Pierre BALMAIN creation for the spring 1950 collection. A frock coat in black silk satin with the bell-shaped sleeves lined with white and turned up to the elbows. The frock coat is worn over a thin black satin skirt and a white piqué blouse, with a knotted tie held in place by a clip which represents a diamond pendant watch.
