Paper photograph on cardboard base depicting a young woman, a famous French actress, dancer and singer, Arlette DORGÈRE (born Anna Mathilde Irma JOUVE, 8 June 1880 – 1965). She is represented in an outside gown consisting of a long silk jacket and a matching straight skirt. The jacket is embellished with vertical rows of small round decorative buttons, trimming the front borders, with two lines going down the chest and the beginning of the three quarter sleeves. The lady is wearing a short pearl necklace, a bracelet high on each hand, a hat with ostrich feathers and holding a pair of gloves.Materials
