Description
Paper photograph on cardboard base depicting a young woman, a famous French actress, dancer and singer, Arlette DORGÈRE (born Anna Mathilde Irma JOUVE, 8 June 1880 – 1965). She is represented in a fine guipure lace bodice, with a high collar with three tear shaped lewels under the chin, three quarter sleeves, embellished with some jewels on the elbows, and a simple skirt, probably in velvet, with a tight belt with vegetal pattern. She is holding a long fur mantle lined with silk. The lady is standing near a stone bench with a background of snowed pine trees.
