Paper photograph on cardboard base depicting a young woman, a famous French actress, dancer and singer, Arlette DORGÈRE (born Anna Mathilde Irma JOUVE, 8 June 1880 – 1965). She is represented is a long evening gown richly embroidered with metallic threads, visible with a small train under a long velvet coat in Russian style, trimmed with fur on the sides and high collar, and having two large embroideries on the chest and the bottom, imitating frog fastenings. Her hair is in fashionable updo bun style with a puff around.Materials
