Description
Paper photograph of Elsa SCHIAPARELLI (1890 - 1973), a famous fashion designer, interviewed in her home by UPI correspondent Aline MOSBY. Mrs SCHIAPARELLI is wearing a dark dress with short plain sleeves and a deep V-collared neckline. She is accessorized with layers of princess-style pearl necklaces and an ornate metallic bracelet. The interviewer has on a striped collared shirt with cuffed sleeves.
Elsa SCHIAPARELLI was an Italian-born fashion designer who established a fashion house in Paris in 1927. She is most known for her surrealist fashion designs of the 1930s and her signature color “Shocking Pink.”
